27Vietjet is rolling out a three-day special sale from 8 to 10 October 2026, featuring Eco tickets from $ 90 one-way (including taxes and fees) and 20% off Deluxe base fares (excluding taxes and fees) on Colombo–Ho Chi Minh City route.
The promotion comes as the airline expands its international network with the upcoming launch of its Ho Chi Minh City–Maldives service via Colombo, giving travellers in Sri Lanka a new link to Malé.
From now to 21:30 on 10 October 2026 (Sri Lanka time), travellers can enjoy these special deals when booking Colombo–Ho Chi Minh City flights via www.vietjetair.com and the Vietjet Air mobile app.
The promotion also applies to other international and Vietnam domestic routes across Vietjet network, for journeys between 8 October 2026 and 30 September 2027 (blackout dates may apply).
To strengthen its presence in South Asia, Vietjet will launch a new Ho Chi Minh City–Maldives service via Colombo on 5 December 2026, further enhancing Colombo’s role in the airline’s international network.
With three round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the new service will give Sri Lankans a new option to reach Malé from Bandaranaike International Airport, while also creating opportunities for international travellers to combine Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Vietnam in one journey. The new service is also included in the current promotion, with bookings now open.
In addition, Vietjet is launching its Hanoi to Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Hanoi to Prague (Czech Republic) routes on 10 October 2026, expanding its network into Central Asia and Europe. Later this month, two more services will commence, connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Clark in the Philippines and Chiang Mai in Thailand. Together, these new routes give travellers more convenient options to explore historic European cities and vibrant destinations across the Asia-Pacific region, with flexible travel schedules and attractive fares.
On every Vietjet flight, passengers can enjoy a selection of freshly prepared Vietnamese and international specialties, including pho, banh mi and Vietnamese iced milk coffee.
