Vegolicious launches new high-protein Multi-Grain Noodles, Pappadam, Pasta and Cookies
Vegolicious, known as Sri Lanka’s first plant-based protein food brand, has expanded its product line with the introduction of High Protein Multi Grain Noodles, High Protein Multi Grain Pappadam, High Protein Multi Grain Pasta and High Protein Multi Grain Cookies. The brand has been active in the local grain supply sector and has been developing products that use Mung Bean, Chick Pea, Red Kidney Bean, Yellow Split Pea and Red Lentil flour instead of Wheat. This approach helps consumers obtain higher protein levels compared to many other products currently available in the market. The newly launched Multi Grain Noodles are made from a blend of pulses, legumes. A 100g serving contains 17.8g of protein and 5g of fibre. The Multi Grain Chocolate Chip Cookies are baked with cocoa and chocolate chips and include a plant-based protein mix. The Multi Grain Banana Oatmeal Cookies contain ripe bananas and oats and come as a sugar-free option. The Multi Grain Date Cookies are made for those who prefer natural sweetness with added fibre, potassium, magnesium and antioxidants.
