Sysco’s Lise Monahan Highlights People and Purpose at SLASSCOM CEO Breakfast Event

Senior technology leaders convened recently at a SLASSCOM CEO Breakfast for a fireside conversation with Lise Monahan, VP Technology – Enterprise Solutions, Global Centers & OCIDO at Sysco.

Speaking to an audience of CEOs from leading tech companies, Monahan shared a global perspective on unlocking scale through people and purpose. She emphasised Sri Lanka’s evolution from a delivery hub to a value creation partner, noting the depth of talent and ability of local teams to operate complex, mission-critical systems at global scale.

Drawing on her experiences from Sysco and Sysco LABS, she outlined how aligning people, purpose, and platforms enables sustained innovation, and highlighted inclusion as a strategic growth driver. The session reinforced Sri Lanka’s opportunity to move further up the value chain through ownership, leadership maturity, and global thinking.
