Swisstek strengthens integrated building solutions capability for Sri Lanka’s evolving construction sector

As Sri Lanka’s construction sector continues to evolve, demand is increasingly shifting towards solutions that combine quality, technical reliability, performance and long-term value. Against this backdrop, Swisstek is strengthening its position as a diversified building solutions business with capabilities spanning construction materials, aluminium systems, roofing and cladding, and premium flooring.

With a heritage dating back to 1967, Swisstek has developed from a specialist timber flooring manufacturer into a broader construction solutions group supported by manufacturing scale, engineering expertise and quality standards trusted by customers across international markets. Today, the business operates across four specialist platforms: Construction Materials, Aluminium Systems & Solutions, Integrated Roofing & Cladding Solutions, and Premium Flooring Solutions. Together, these capabilities address requirements across residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use developments.

Manufacturing remains central to the Group’s operations. Swisstek currently operates three manufacturing facilities with an annual production capacity of approximately 100,000 MT and a workforce of more than 1,300. Its manufacturing base supports product development, quality control, technical consistency and supply capability across the portfolio.

The Group’s technical capabilities extend across aluminium extrusion, architectural systems, roofing, waterproofing, surface preparation, flooring and quality assurance, supported by relevant local and international certifications and standards. Swisstek’s solutions have been deployed across prominent developments across the island. The company also serves eight international markets, continuing an export heritage established through its premium timber flooring business.
