71Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Thailand E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe was honoured at the Bodhi Buddhagaya Award Ceremony held in Bangkok.
The event, organised by the Magadh Buddhagaya Foundation, recognised 130 individuals for contributions to promoting Buddhism.
Ambassadors from Sri Lanka, India, the Philippines and Nepal were among the recipients, the Sri Lankan Embassy noted.
