Sri Lanka stocks flat midday, S&P SL20 edges up

Sri Lanka’s Colombo Stock Exchange was flat midday Friday, with the All Share Price Index down 0.01 percent, or 1.66 points, at 22,564.92.

The S&P SL20, however, was picking up 0.13 percent, or 8.28 points, at 6,214.01.

Hatton National Bank (down 0.49 percent at 409 rupees), Royal Ceramics Lanka (down 1.68 percent at 46.70 rupees), and Nations Trust Bank (down 0.48 percent at 313.78 rupees) were top negative contributors to the ASPI.


Market turnover was 1.3 billion rupees. Capital goods led turnover with 136.7 million rupees.

Ceylinco Holdings reported a profit of 10.4 billion for 2025, a 10.3 percent raise from 2024. The stock was up 3.13 percent at 3,350 rupees.
