Sri Lanka rupee stronger, bond yields edge up

Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 310.85/95 to the US dollar in the spot market Wednesday, stronger than 310.95/311.05 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields edged up.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed at 8.10/20 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 closed at 8.50/60 percent, up from 8.45/50 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.07.2028 closed at 9.15/22 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 closed at 9.55/60 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.10.2032 closed at 10.20/30 percent, up from 10.20/27 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 closed at 10.50/55 percent, up from 10.47/52 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.06.2034 closed at 10.75/77 percent.
