28Softlogic Life has reaffirmed its place among Sri Lanka’s most decorated names in life insurance sales, with Sajeewa Pushpitha winning the Rookie Insurance Agency Leader of the Year title at the 11th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards 2026, the latest chapter in the company’s growing record of international recognition.
Presented at a ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand recently, the award saw Sajeewa outperform a strong regional field, where the other finalists were Carolyn Xu and Liv Huang of AIA International Limited. The win puts Softlogic Life’s sales talent ahead of some of the biggest names in Asian insurance.
The Rookie Insurance Agency Leader of the Year award recognises agency leaders with fewer than five years’ managerial experience who show strong production and recruitment, leadership, robust systems, professionalism and service to the industry, a bar Sajeewa cleared decisively and one that speaks to the standards Softlogic Life holds its agency force to.
This latest win builds on Sajeewa’s landmark 2023 title of Insurance Agent of the Year at the eighth Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards, following three consecutive years as a top-five finalist in the category.
“Following his previous recognition across Asia, this latest honour is a reflection of his commitment to consistent excellence,” said Softlogic Life Managing Director Iftikar Ahamed.
With more than two decades in the life insurance industry, Sajeewa has built one of the most extensive records of professional achievement in the market: active membership of the Million Dollar Round Table, with 16 MDRT qualifications, including eight Top of the Table recognitions—the highest number of TOTs within the company.
