Reinforcing its commitment to empowering Sri Lanka's micro-enterprise sector through digital innovation, SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT Solutions Provider, has significantly strengthened its micro business ecosystem by onboarding 12 new Solution Partners and 24 Tech-Lead Partners. The initiative enhances the company’s ability to deliver comprehensive ICT and digital solutions tailored to the evolving needs of micro businesses across the country. It also marks another milestone in SLT-MOBITEL's ongoing efforts to create a robust partner ecosystem, enabling micro enterprises to embrace digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and unlock new growth opportunities.
Through this strengthened ecosystem, micro business customers can access one-stop ICT solution provisioning, uniting connectivity, technology solutions, and specialised business services together on a single trusted platform. The approach enables businesses to obtain solutions that are more affordable, scalable, and aligned with their specific operational requirements, while reducing the complexity of dealing with multiple technology providers.
The expanded partner network also enables faster implementation and responsive technical support, helping micro businesses adopt technology with minimal disruption to their day-to-day operations. Customers can benefit from solutions designed to improve productivity, streamline business processes, enhance customer engagement, strengthen security, and support business growth. In addition, access to expert technology consultancy enables entrepreneurs to identify suitable solutions based on their business requirements, budget, and future growth plans.
The newly onboarded solution partners bring specialised expertise from across a wide range of business technologies and digital services. Among the prominent partners within the expanded ecosystem are Metropolitan Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, Hayleys Fentons Limited, KBSL Information Technologies, and Siyol International (Pvt) Ltd, further strengthening SLT-MOBITEL's ability to provide specialised and industry-relevant solutions to micro businesses.
Complementing this initiative, SLT-MOBITEL has also onboarded 24 Tech-Lead Partners under a collaborative crowdsourcing model. By bringing together a diverse network of technology professionals with specialised expertise and industry experience, the model enhances the company's ability to respond more effectively to evolving customer requirements while ensuring faster, more agile service delivery.
The agreement signing ceremony was held recently at the Hilton Residencies, with the participation of SLT-MOBITEL Chief Executive Officer, Riyaaz Rasheed, former Chief Operating Officer, Imantha Wijekoon; and representatives from both SLT-MOBITEL and the newly onboarded partner organisations. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in strengthening the company’s partner ecosystem and reaffirmed their shared commitment to accelerating digital adoption among Sri Lanka's micro businesses.
With access to a broader portfolio of solutions, specialised expertise,
and technology consultancy, SLT-MOBITEL customers can select solutions that can
grow alongside their businesses, enabling them to improve efficiency, enhance
competitiveness, and respond more effectively to changing market demands.
Through this strengthened ecosystem, SLT-MOBITEL continues to expand its role
as a trusted digital transformation partner, delivering innovative, scalable,
and future-ready ICT solutions that empower entrepreneurs, enhance business
competitiveness, and contribute to the nation's digital economy.
