SLASSCOM launches second edition of ‘Fit Hit’ powered by Union Assurance

SLASSCOM, Sri Lanka’s apex body for the IT/BPO industry, announces the second edition of its flagship wellness initiative, Fit Hit, powered by Union Assurance, underscoring their commitment to fostering holistic employee well-being and driving a sustainable and inclusive workforce in Sri Lanka.

Well-being- A Critical Priority for the IT/BPO Sector: The IT/ BPO industries, the backbone of Sri Lanka’s knowledge economy, employing thousands of professionals in high-pressure, performance-driven roles, face challenges like burnout, stress and lifestyle-related illnesses due to sedentary work.

SLASSCOM’s Fit Hit aims to tackle these issues by providing employees with tools and resources to prioritize physical and mental well-being, boosting productivity, engagement, and job satisfaction.

Union Assurance, Sri Lanka’s premier Life Insurer, returns as the title sponsor for Fit Hit for the second consecutive year. The Company’s support reflects a shared vision with SLASSCOM to promote healthier, happier workplaces within the IT/ BPO sectors.
