The Sinhala translation of 'Hear Yourself: How to Find Peace in a Noisy World', a book by internationally renowned speaker and author Prem Rawat, has been released in Sri Lanka. The book offers readers practical guidance on how to find peace within themselves in a world that often feels overwhelming and noisy. Modern life can be fast-paced and stressful, and many people are searching for ways to slow down and find a sense of calm. In this book, Rawat encourages readers to look inward and listen to their inner voice, a steady, quiet presence that exists within everyone. He explains that by becoming more aware of this voice, we can develop a deeper sense of peace and face life’s challenges with more clarity and strength.
'Hear Yourself' draws on Rawat’s decades of experience as a teacher and communicator. Through personal stories and thoughtful reflections, he lays out simple steps for reconnecting with ourselves. He offers a clear, down-to-earth approach that doesn’t rely on outside influences or expectations, but instead focuses on tapping into our own inner resources. The English edition of the book became a New York Times bestseller in 2021. Since then, translations have reached audiences around the world. Notably, the launch of the Hindi version in Lucknow, India, on 3 March, 2023, was attended by 114,704 people, setting a Guinness World Record. Another Guinness record was set on 2 March, 2025, in Mirzapur, India, where a public reading of the book by Prem Rawat himself drew an audience of 375,603 people. The Sinhala edition brings this widely read and appreciated work to Sri Lankan readers, making its message of inner peace more accessible than ever.
