Shangri-La Colombo unveils a new chapter at Tiki Bar

Tiki Bar at Shangri-La Colombo has introduced a new cocktail menu alongside an updated evening concept, aimed at reshaping its after-work offering in the city.

Located overlooking Galle Face Green and the Indian Ocean, the venue continues to position itself as a key social space in Colombo, combining views with a structured evening experience.

A central feature of the redesigned space is a display of traditional Sri Lankan Raksha masks. Historically associated with ritual and protection, the masks now form part of the bar’s visual identity.

The updated cocktail menu focuses on local flavours and ingredients. New additions include the Chilli and Passion Daiquiri, which combines tropical fruit with a mild spice element, and the Coriander Fizz, which incorporates roasted spice in a carbonated format. The Arrack Fashioned highlights a locally sourced spirit, while the Whisky Highball remains a simpler option designed for extended service.

The launch also introduces a “Golden Hour” concept, offering selected beverages with a complimentary second serving during a specified time period.

The venue continues to cater to a mix of after-work gatherings and casual social visits, with an emphasis on drinks, conversation, and live sports viewing.

With these updates, Tiki Bar aims to strengthen its role as an evening destination in Colombo.
