Sampath Bank Introduces One-Stop Housing Loan Hub with 10-Day Processing Target

Sampath Bank PLC introduced a new level of convenience to housing finance with the launch of the Sampath Sevana 360 Hub at its Borella Super Branch. Sri Lanka’s first dedicated housing loan hub, the initiative brings the entire housing loan journey under one roof, simplifying the process for customers seeking to purchase or build a home.

Securing a housing loan often involves multiple stages, including document verification, legal coordination, property valuation and credit assessment. Sampath Sevana 360 Hub addresses these complexities through a one-stop service model, allowing customers to initiate their application at a single location while the Bank coordinates the process through to loan disbursement.

Speaking at the launch, Asanka Liayanage, Deputy General Manager – Consumer & SME Banking of Sampath Bank PLC, said, “Sampath Sevana 360 Hub reflects our commitment to making home ownership a more straightforward experience. Buying or building a home is a significant milestone, and the financing process should support that ambition rather than add to its difficulty. Our aim is to bring the entire journey together through a single point of contact, greater transparency and more efficient processing, with a targeted 10-working-day approval timeline, subject to complete documentation and applicable approval requirements.”

The initiative is designed to support a broad range of housing aspirations, offering a more convenient and streamlined financing experience for customers looking to purchase, build or renovate their home/homes. Therefore, Sampath Bank aims to make housing finance more accessible and convenient, combining personalised assistance with greater process efficiency to support customers pursuing their home ownership ambitions.

A dedicated relationship officer will guide each customer throughout the process, eliminating the need to navigate multiple departments and coordinate separately with bank officers, lawyers and property valuers. Services will cover application acceptance, document verification, legal coordination, property valuation, credit processing, customer progress updates and loan disbursement.

The Borella Super Branch will serve as the initial location for Sampath Sevana 360 Hub, introducing a dedicated housing finance experience that brings convenience, coordination and a clearer path towards homeownership under one roof.
