Rush Lanka Group Reaches Major Milestone with 10th Residential Project in Dehiwala

Rush Lanka Group has marked a significant milestone in its long-standing presence in Dehiwala with the groundbreaking of Rush Residencies Allen, its 10th apartment development in the area, reinforcing its commitment to one of Colombo’s most established and sought-after residential locations.

The latest development represents another chapter in Rush Lanka Group’s journey in Dehiwala, which began with its first development, Rush Apartments (SPI), in 1992. More than three decades later, the Group continues to expand its footprint in the area, with three distinct developments reflecting different stages of its residential development journey – Rush Tower 2 nearing completion, Rush Metropolis progressing through construction, and Rush Residencies Allen now breaking ground.

Located in Dehiwala, Rush Residencies Allen is a 14-level residential development comprising 56 two- and three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 995 to 1,500 sq. ft., with three levels of secure parking. The development is designed around contemporary urban living, incorporating thoughtfully planned interiors, premium finishes, rooftop leisure facilities and dedicated fitness provisions. With its latest project, Rush Lanka Group is also building on a portfolio that demonstrates the evolution of its approach to residential development in Dehiwala.

Rush Tower 2, currently nearing completion, comprises 36 apartments across six planned residential floors, complemented by facilities including a rooftop gym, swimming pool and landscaped garden terrace. The project has progressed through major construction milestones, with its roof slab completed and MEP work currently underway.

Meanwhile, Rush Metropolis is taking the Group’s Dehiwala presence to a new scale. The 23-storey development comprises 125 two- and three-bedroom apartments and is positioned as a landmark high-rise residential development for the area. Construction is currently progressing, with the project having moved through site clearing, groundbreaking, piling and foundation completion to ongoing floor construction. Expected handover is scheduled for 2028. Together, the three developments underscore Rush Lanka Group’s continued investment in Dehiwala and the evolution of urban living in the area—Rush Tower 2 nearing completion with a more intimate residential offering, Rush Metropolis advancing as a landmark high-rise development, and Rush Residencies Allen marking the latest addition to the Group’s growing portfolio .
