60Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) will conduct its Captain’s Cup 2025 from 13 to 15 March at the Ridgeway Links in Borella.
Tee off on 13 March will be from 7 a.m. onwards with over 200 golfers tipped to take part.
Founded in 1879, the club continues to uphold its rich legacy while moving steadily toward its 150th anniversary in 2029.
The Captain’s Cup remains one of the events that celebrates this long-standing heritage.
Over three days, the course will provide a competitive yet friendly environment where golfers test their skill, precision, and consistency. The event also promotes camaraderie among members and participants.
The tournament will be contested on medal play on 14 and 15 March, and the overall winner will be selected.
Masters, Seniors (Gents and Ladies) too will take place adding colour to the event. RCGC Captain Gehan Siribaddana donated the trophies.
