Prime Health Herbal Products Honoured at Business World International Awards for innovation in cancer control

Prime Health Herbal Products (PHHP), a leading herbal nutraceutical manufacturer in the country, has received the prestigious award for Best Herbal Innovation in Cancer Control and Prevention at the Business World International Awards. Organized by the Business World International Organization, the award ceremony recently took place at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo. PHHP specialises in researching and developing pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, with a strong focus on addressing non-infectious diseases such as cancer, diabetes, obesity, and coronary diseases. Their Research and Development Facility collaborates closely with esteemed local institutions including the Universities of Peradeniya, Kelaniya (Faculty of Indigenous Medicine), and Ruhuna. Internationally, they partner with leading universities in Melbourne, Osaka, Spain, and Burling. Under the leadership of Senior Prof. R. V. P. J. Rajapakse, the Research Team oversees PHHP's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to rigorous scientific standards and innovation in herbal medicine.

At the heart of PHHP's recent accolade is their flagship product, 'LivingMo600', meticulously crafted over six years of intensive research. Formulated from active ingredients derived from bitter gourd (Karavila) fatty acid, "alfa Eleostearic fatty acid," and cinnamon bark oil, LivingMo600 demonstrates significant potential in controlling cancer development, preventing metastasis, and alleviating the side effects of conventional cancer therapies such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
