New Anthoney’s Group, Sri Lanka's leading sustainable poultry producer famed for its HarithaHari zero-antibiotic chicken range, recently held a ceremony at the Royal Colombo Golf Club on the 15th of June, to honor and celebrate the successful completion of the “License to Sell” training, a six-month certification programme conducted in partnership with the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).
A total of 35 participants from the sales and marketing team graduated and shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, going onto highlight how the programme had an effective and impactful drive on their personal development including boosting a stronger team morale.

SLIM’s flagship “Licence to Sell” programme spans six months and 12 intensive modules, covering everything from grooming and personality development to digital prospecting and finance basics for sales professionals, delivered through a mix of theoretical learning and hands-on practice.
The initiative was fully supported and encouraged by New Anthoney’s Group Chairman and Managing Director Emil Stanley and CEO Neil Suraweera, citing that continuous education are key drivers of personal and professional growth, and building an empowered and growth-oriented culture among its talent.
The ceremony also featured distinguished SLIM dignitaries including Council Member Manthika Ranasinghe; CEO Chamil Wickramasinghe; and Past President and Chair of SLIM’s Education Reform Committee Dr. Pradeep Edward. Also present were Mihirinie Fonseka, SLIM’s General Manager of Sales and Marketing, and senior trainers from the institute.
