88NDB Bank, the fifth-largest shareholder of Seylan Bank, has fully exited its position in the bank by selling its entire 8.72% shareholding.
The transaction, executed today (11 May 2026), involved the transfer of 26,631,495 shares at a price of Rs. 104.00 per share. The total value of the deal amounted to Rs. 2.76 billion.
The buyer of the stake has not yet been publicly disclosed.
This divestment marks the complete exit of NDB Bank from its shareholding in Seylan Bank.
