Microsoft’s next wave of innovation for Microsoft 365 Copilot

Microsoft announced the next wave of Microsoft 365 Copilot innovations, bringing together web + work + pages as a complete new design system for work. Microsoft has updated the free Microsoft Copilot experience to provide enterprise data protection, the power of web grounding, and a simplified, ad-free experience for over 400 million people. 

Copilot customers grew more than 60% quarter over quarter, while the number of people who used Copilot daily at work doubled. Copilot has become a daily habit for people everywhere and today’s new updates will continue to bring value in three keyways: 

· Copilot Pages – the new digital artifact: BizChat – which brings together data from across your documents, email, calendar, and more – is enhanced with the new Copilot Pages, a persistent canvas for AI collaboration. Now, you can edit and share your page in real time with your team – asking Copilot more questions and adding more content. 

· Supercharging Copilot in Microsoft 365 apps: New enhanced Copilot features in Microsoft 365 apps, like PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook, supercharge productivity and business value. Notably, Copilot in Excel is now generally available and is combining with the power of Python, one of the world’s most popular programming languages.   

· Copilot Agents: Agents built in Copilot Studio can now be published directly into Microsoft 365 Copilot, surfacing right in the user’s flow of work. And we are unveiling a new Copilot Studio experience that empowers users of any skill level to create agents right from within Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Chat and SharePoint. These new features will be rolling out in general availability to all Microsoft 365 Copilot customers over the coming weeks.
