LankaPay receives top recognition at BestWeb.lk 2025

LankaPay.lk, the official website of Sri Lanka’s National Payment Network, was recognized at the BestWeb.lk Awards 2025 and secured two prestigious awards – Gold Award in the Most Popular Corporate Website category and Silver Award in the Best Corporate Website category. Organized by the LK Domain Registry, the awards ceremony held on 27th August 2025 at Monarch Imperial, brought together the nation’s leading corporates and digital innovators to celebrate excellence in online presence via the web.

This recognition comes within one year after a complete overhaul of LankaPay’s website in 2024, which introduced a modern, responsive, and user-friendly design. A key highlight of the revamped website is its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 – making LankaPay the first corporate website in Sri Lanka to fully meet these global standards, thereby ensuring inclusivity for all users, including differently-abled individuals.

Other standout features of the website include seamless cross-device browsing for a consistent and convenient user experience; integrated social media wall consolidating real-time engagement across multiple platforms; dynamic event calendar enabling users to stay updated and interact with upcoming events; enriched content through blogs and newsletters, offering insights into the digital payments ecosystem.
