Huawei Showcases 18 Practical AI Applications at Sri Lanka AI Week 2026

Huawei is showcasing a range of artificial intelligence applications at Sri Lanka AI Week 2026, demonstrating how AI can support everyday experiences, customer service, business, industry, government, infrastructure and education.

As the AI Technology Partner, Huawei is participating for the second consecutive year, following the inaugural National AI Expo in 2025. The Huawei booth at Monarch Imperial features 18 demonstrations showing AI in practical settings.

For everyday experiences, the AI Digital Human, developed with iFLYTEK, demonstrates multilingual, multimodal interaction and 24/7 smart service, while the Multilingual AI Screen enables real-time cross-language communication at reception and service points. AI Music Video and Huawei Cloud AI Mirror demonstrate personalised AI-generated content, while the Device Ecosystem, AI Smart Home and AI to Vehicle showcase connected devices, immersive home experiences and the transformation of vehicles into intelligent spaces.

For businesses, AI Livestreaming demonstrates automated live commerce using real streamers or digital avatars, while AI Token Metering & Billing with ModelArts and AGIOne shows token tracking, usage-based billing and AI cost management. Agentic AI in Finance demonstrates AI applications for financial institutions.

For government and industry, AI in Government highlights intelligent applications across public services, city governance, healthcare, agriculture and meteorology. AI Empowering Industry presents AI infrastructure, industry applications and talent development, while 5GtoB demonstrates industrial applications including smart manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, smart cities, intelligent inspection and smart ports. Digital Power for Intelligence showcases energy storage and AI-enabled data-centre monitoring, optimisation and predictive maintenance.

Education-focused demonstrations include the AI Hands-on Classroom, where visitors can explore AI chatbot development using large language models, AI agents and cloud technologies. AI in Education highlights AI applications across classrooms, campuses and talent development, while MindGraph together with Beijing Normal University (BNU) demonstrates visual learning and supports Sinhala and Tamil learning contexts. The Smart Classroom demonstrates live remote teaching using the Ministry of Education’s existing distance-learning solution, connecting a provincial school with other classrooms and the exhibition booth.
