Eton College moves to new premises

Eton College moved to a new building with modern facilities on July 30, marking a significant milestone in its journey. The new school building consists of modern classrooms, a science laboratory, an IT center, a library, and a fully equipped preschool. Eton College was opened on January 7, 2024, with 40 students in a rented building in Maradana to provide quality English-medium education to children from middle-class families. Eton College has achieved remarkable growth under the leadership of Mr. Akram Mohamed Thowfeek. Currently, it has over 200 students and a staff of over 20. Mr. Akram, who holds the position of Principal and CEO of Eton College, is committed to fostering quality education and creating disciplined students.

Eton College also encourages students to participate in various sports and artistic activities, including football, swimming, karate, music, and dance. The Eton English Society, along with the Sinhala and Tamil language societies of the college, plays a crucial role in promoting trilingual fluency. The Eton Campus has been established in association with Eton College for higher education activities. Eton Campus in Kollupitiya, as a TVEC approved private higher education institution, offers a range of diploma, advanced diploma, degree (Bachelor/Master) courses in Business Management, Information Technology and Education The Eton Campus is an approved centre for ATHE, Qualifi and ABE in the UK.Eton Campus is an approved SELT examination Centre in Sri Lanka and is approved by the Home Office for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) purposes.Eton College and Eton Campus join forces to create a comprehensive and integrated educational program that guides students from their schooling to their professional education.
