DMASL Partners with London International Awards (LIA) to Elevate Sri Lanka’s Creative Industry

The Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL) has partnered with the prestigious London International Awards (LIA) to provide Sri Lankan creatives with greater global exposure, mentorship, and industry recognition. The collaboration is expected to open new doors for Sri Lankan professionals in advertising, marketing, and digital content creation, connecting them with some of the most influential voices in the global creative industry. This two-year partnership marks the beginning of a broader initiative by DMASL to elevate Sri Lanka’s creative industry, giving local professionals the tools, exposure, and mentorship they need to compete at a global level.

Under this partnership, DMASL will serve as LIA’s Official Representative in Sri Lanka, working to increase awareness and encourage local participation in the awards. Additionally, Sri Lankan creatives will gain access to Creative LIAisons, LIA’s exclusive mentorship programme, which provides up-and-coming talent with guidance from world-renowned industry leaders through both in-person sessions in Las Vegas (where the final awards ceremony will be held) and virtual platforms.

Explaining the significance of this partnership, Arjun Jeger – President of the Digital Mareting Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL) said, “This partnership with LIA is a major milestone for Sri Lanka’s creative industry. It not only places our talent on a global stage but also provides invaluable learning opportunities through mentorship and international exposure. Creativity is a fundamental aspect of digital marketing, driving engagement, innovation, and meaningful brand connections. At DMASL, our core purpose is to elevate digital marketing standards in Sri Lanka, and we believe that fostering world-class creativity is essential to achieving this goal. Through this collaboration with LIA, we hope to inspire and empower Sri Lankan professionals to push creative boundaries and make a lasting impact in the digital space.”

Meanwhile, Laurissa Levy – Creative LIAisons Director/LIA Rep Director at London International Awards welcomed Sri Lanka’s creative talent to the LIA community saying, “LIA is proud to partner with DMASL to showcase local talent in the Sri Lanka creative community and provide two of Sri Lanka's young talents with the opportunity to experience our Creative LIAisons educational initiative. This global coaching academy, funded by LIA, is a unique training program for young creatives, who will have the rare opportunity to receive one-on-one e-mentoring sessions from three established, top industry creatives from around the world. Creative LIAisons is all about bringing the global creative community together to help develop the industry’s brightest emerging talent, so we believe this one-on-one coaching is so important for one's personal creative journey, career growth and for developing future industry leaders. We look forward to seeing the amazing work from Sri Lanka this year and providing recognition to its rising talent!”

Through this collaboration, DMASL members will also have the opportunity to subscribe to LIA’s industry newsletter, providing regular updates on global creative trends, key industry events, and competition insights. If Sri Lanka secures a jury representation at LIA, DMASL will work closely with LIA to nominate a qualified industry professional to represent the country on the jury panel.

The London International Awards (LIA) is a globally recognised creative awards platform that celebrates excellence in advertising, digital, design, and branded content. Founded in 1986, LIA is known for its prestigious jury panels, cutting-edge categories, and commitment to fostering young creative talent through its Creative LIAisons mentorship programme.
