25Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC) hosted its flagship Pinnacle Awards, honouring top performers across its Commercial function for their exceptional contributions throughout the past year.
The evening set the stage for a celebration of grit, strategic execution, and relentless commercial drive, that honoured individuals and teams who continuously redrew boundaries to deliver high impact business outcomes.
The crown jewel of the night, the ‘Trade Marketing Executive of the Year’ award, was presented to Janith Senevirathna recognising his masterclass in field leadership, operational agility, and consistent value creation. Abeeshgar Vathanathasan took home the First Runner-up title, while Asen Nanayakkara was awarded the Second Runner-up in this category.
The awards evening also celebrated excellence across the wider commercial engine where Waruna Sellapperuma was named the Emerging Trade Marketing Executive of the Year for showcasing strong potential throughout the year whilst Andrew Rathnayake walked away with the award for the Most Outstanding Assistant Manager of the Year.
