34Two high-technology scanners were handed over to the Sri Lanka Customs Department by the Australian Border Force, specifically for use at the Jaffna International Airport and the Kankesanthurai Port.
The handing over ceremony took place this morning, Monday, at the Kankesanthurai Port.
During the event, Australian High Commissioner Matthew Duckworth officially handed over the scanners to Sri Lanka Customs Director General Seevali Arukgoda.
Officials from the Australian High Commission were also present at the event.
