AIS’s Jevahn climbs to top in PRIMA Sunrise Bread Junior Golf

Sri Lanka’s amateur champion Jevahn Sathasivam of Asian International School, produced an impressive three-under-par 68 on the second day of the PRIMA Sunrise Bread Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship at the Royal Colombo Golf Club yesterday.

His round helped him surge to the top of the leaderboard with a total gross score of 140, one stroke ahead of second-place Adithya Weerasinghe, who carded an even-par 71 for a total of 141.

Reshan Algama, Sri Lanka’s second-best amateur golfer, secured third place with a three-over-par 74, bringing his total gross to 151. Jacob Norton finished fourth with a two-over-par 73 and a total of 152.

In the Gold/Silver Division Girls, Kaya Daluwatte, Sri Lanka’s top amateur golfer, carded a stunning three-under-par 69, bringing her total gross to 139. She now leads the division by 42 strokes, well ahead of Anumi Karunathilake, who carded 90 and has a total gross of 181.

The Silver Division Boys saw Thejas Rathiskanth take the lead with a gross score of 74 and a total of 150, while Kaiyan Johnpillai came in second with a gross of 77 and a total of 153.

In the Bronze Division Boys, Lavindu Premarathne maintained his lead with a gross of 54 and a total gross of 107, three strokes ahead of second-place Revann Amarasinghe, who carded 57 with a total of 110.

In the Bronze Division Girls, Genuli Weerakoon continued to lead with a gross score of 65 and a total of 131, 11 strokes ahead of second-place Vihara Herath, who also carded a 65 for a total gross of 142.

In the Copper Division Boys, Yuvan Rathiskanth moved to the top of the leaderboard with a stunning 31 for a total of 64, one stroke ahead of previous leader Jaeden Sathasivam, who carded a 34 and has a total of 65. Jayith Guruge placed third with a total gross of 78, and Abiman Abeywardhana was in fourth with a total of 83.

In the Copper Division Girls, Ananya Kishanthan led with a gross score of 41 and a total of 81, ahead of Dulkini Kangara, who carded a 42 for a total gross of 87.
