Super Beach Sports Club and Blue Star Sports Club joint champions

Super Beach Sports Club beach football team Kalutara and Blue Star Sports Club beach football team Kalutara were crowned as joint overall champions in their five a sidee “DILSCOOP” Challenge trophy beach soccer championship-2024 which was held on November 10th Sunday at the Kalutara South beach ground.

Former cricketer T.M. Dilshan and Kalutara football clubs Association successfully organized this tournament for the first time to uplift and develop beach football between the youngsters in the Kalutara District and more than 16 beach football teams participated in this competition and they gathered from the all parts of the Kalutara district.

In the semi final Kalutara Super Beach sports club football team beat the Kalutara Crusaders sports club football team by 5/1 goals and Kalutara Blue star beach football team recorded a 2/0 victory over the Blue Diamond Sports Club football team and were selected for the final’s

The much-anticipated final ended in a draw due to insufficient time. The Kalutara Blue Star beach football team and Super beach football teams were declared joint champions.

Meanwhile, Boswell football academy team beat kalutara football academy team by 1/0 goal in the match held at football academy level and became the champions.

Former SriLankan cricketer T.M. Dilshan wasthe Chief guest at the final session and awarded the Champions trophies to the winner’s.
