The Boys’ Team faced tough opposition in the group stages, drawn against top-seeded Republic of Korea and Kuwait. Meanwhile, the Girls’ Team battled against powerhouses Hong Kong China, Chinese Taipei, Singapore, and Republic of Korea.

Sri Lanka’s junior players were guided by Head Coach Sathar Deen, an accredited World Squash Federation (WSF) Level 2 coach, along with assistant coaches Dinusha Priyadarshana and Wasantha Kumara.
