Police warn public against opening unverified links and messages on mobile phones

The police have issued a warning to the public to exercise caution when handling messages and links received on mobile phones.

In a statement, authorities emphasized that the risk of cyber fraud through suspicious messages has increased significantly. They advised everyone to carefully check the ending of links before clicking on them.

The police specifically cautioned the public not to open links that end in unusual domains such as .NET, .XYZ, and .CC, as these are often associated with malicious activities.
