The New Zealand limited overs cricket team is scheduled to come to Sri Lanka on the 4th of next month to play in two T20 and ODI series.
The New Zealand cricket selection committee has named a 15-man squad for this tour, which includes 2 T20 matches and 3 one-day matches, and 32-year-old spinner Mitchell Santner has been given the leadership of this squad, which has rested many strong players. Santner has been appointed as the captain on a temporary basis following the resignation of regular captain Kane Williamson earlier this year.
26-year-old bowling all-rounder Nathan Smith and 24-year-old wicketkeeper Mitchell Haye have been called up to the national squad for the first time.
