NDB Bank has made history with the successful completion of Sri Lanka's first AI-generated, crowd-sourced Vesak Bakthi Gee compilation. This groundbreaking campaign, launched on May 16th, uniquely combined the power of artificial intelligence (AI) with the timeless devotion of Vesak Bakthi Gee, setting a new benchmark for cultural celebration and technological innovation.

The Bank invited the public to participate through its Facebook page, encouraging participants to craft lyrics that embodied the essence of the Triple Gem: Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha. This call for creativity resonated widely, prompting numerous entries that were subsequently processed using advanced AI platforms such as Suno, Soundraw, Mubert, and Loudly. The result was a harmonious blend of tradition and technology, transforming heartfelt lyrics into beautiful Vesak Bakthi Gee tracks.

From the multitude of submissions, three exceptional entries stood out. NDB is proud to announce the winners: Kavishka Hettiarachchi, Udara Harsha, and Natasha Siriwardhana. Their winning lyrics were not only transformed into enchanting Vesak Bakthi Gee but were also accompanied by visually stunning AI-generated videos, enhancing the overall experience. These creations now live on NDB's Facebook page, have garnered an impressive response, collectively amassing over 1 million views on social media.

Additionally, during the Vesak period, NDB Bank achieved the highest number of engagements for Vesak-related content within the banking sector, demonstrating the remarkable impact and reach of NDB’s innovative initiatives.
