The three-day Jaffna International Trade Fair (JITF 2025), titled ‘Gateway to the North’ the largest consumer exhibition and trade fair in the fast-growing northern region of Sri Lanka, successfully concluded recently.
JITF 2025 was organised by Lanka Exhibition & Conference Services Ltd. (LECS) with the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yarlpanam (CCIY). Their efforts not only support business growth but also play a pivotal role in nation-building by uniting diverse stakeholders and fostering a spirit of inclusivity.
There were over 300 exhibition booths mainly representing large cooperates and large crowds too attended the event.
UTE too displayed a range of industrial products and services at the event further solidifying its reputation as a dynamic hub for industry leaders, SMEs, and entrepreneurs, fostering economic growth and social development in the region.
People’s Leasing Company (PLC) joined with UTE to reach out to its clients to create a greater awareness offering to make UTE products more accessible and attractive with lower interest rates especially for much needed Solar Systems.
A very popular feature at UTE stall was a ‘Selfie’ competition, which drew significant participation and enthusiasm from visitors’ adding a fun element at the exhibition and helped to connect with a broader audience, resulting in record sales and enquiries for UTE.
UTE also offered expert maintenance and repair services to customers through a Service Clinic. UTE is also offering certified operator training making it easier for Sri Lankans’ to secure lucrative jobs in many countries worldwide
