Financial inclusion: CBSL calls for public support for survey

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has initiated actions to launch a nationwide survey to gather data and information on financial inclusion, with the aim of developing the National Financial Inclusion Strategy Phase II.

The survey will be conducted across 480 Grama Niladhari Divisions, representing every district in the country. It will gather valuable insights on awareness of financial services, usage patterns, and barriers to accessing financial products.

The survey will be carried out by Kantar Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd., a leading research organisation in Sri Lanka.

CBSL kindly requests the cooperation of the General Public in extending their valuable time and support to assist the survey teams for the successful conduct of this survey.
