Casons Rent-A-Car was selected as the official transport partner for US Air force for their Tbilateral exercise 'Atlas Angel'

Casons Rent-A-Car, one of the oldest rental car operators in Sri Lanka had a unique achievement when they were selected as the official transport partner for US Air force for their Tbilateral exercise, 'Atlas Angel,' led by the Montana National Guard, commenced. The 10-day event was held at both SLAF Base Katunayake and SLAF Academy China Bay and saw deployment of two C130 mega aircraft.

Casons Rent-A-Car was selected by the USA’s 'Atlas Angel,' as the total logistic / transport supplier over several other leading local providers. “One of the key factors that the US 'Atlas Angel,' selected Casons Rent-A-Car, was our proven track record for over two decades and the large and devised range of our vehicle fleet numbering over 1,000 of vehicles which helped the US to fill their requirements successfully.”

He also said that the feedback they received after the completion of the event was also very positive. “Casons provided around 20 vehicles which included luxury Cars, Vans, large Coaches with experienced drivers to complete this 10-day project successfully,” a member from Casons said.

To ensure a smooth operation we also deployed a special technical team throughout the project.”Casons Rent-A-Car, which has won numerous awards including the South Asia’s Best Land Transport provider accolade currently has a fleet that includes over 60 4WD Jeeps, 50 Vans, 200 Cars, Double Cabs, Luxury Coaches, Lorries etc.

"We also operate an Airport counter which is mainly sought-after by high end tourists. “We have many repeat guests who patronize this service and they have asked us why Sri Lanka is using an aging fleet of vehicles as some of them are unaware of the current vehicle import ban.

"Hence we must thank the government for allowing the import of 1,000 luxury vehicles for the tourism sector which will boost the first impression of a tourist in transport.” The ‘Atlas Angel’ exercise includes six Subject Matter Expert Exchanges (SMEEs), focusing on C-130 Pilot Exchange, C-130 Aviation Maintenance, and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR).More details on Casons can be obtained from [email protected]
