British School’s Hobbit House takes cricket crown

Hobbit House emerged as the overall champions of the Junior Inter-House Cricket Tournament at the British School in Colombo (BSC), held recently at the G. H. Buddhadasa Grounds in Battaramulla. Unicorn secured the runners-up spot, while Griffin and Centaur finished in third and fourth places, respectively.

Arjun Sathyendra was the star for Hobbit House with his exceptional batting performances throughout the tournament. His teammate, Sashen Sasidaran, was named Player of the Tournament for his all-round brilliance.

In the individual awards category, Inura Hettiarachchi from Griffin was recognized as the Best Bowler, while Jamie Villavarayen, also from Griffin, took the Best Fielder award. Shahaine Fernando, another talent from Griffin, won the Special Talent Award
