“Christell Luxury Wellness Takes a Green Leap with Christell E-Waste Collection Drive”

In a bid to promote environmental sustainability and responsible electronic waste management, Christell Luxury Wellness, through it’s charitable arm, the Christell Foundation, has partnered with Green Links Lanka (Pvt) Ltd to organize a community-wide E-waste collection drive.

This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aims to encourage the community to responsibly dispose of electronic waste, such as old laptops, TV’s Monitors, mobile phones, printers, Appliances and other electronic devices. By collaborating with Green Links Lanka, an authorized company licensed by the Central Environmental Authority for the collection, transport, and storage of electronic waste, Christell Luxury Wellness is taking a proactive step towards addressing the growing issue of e-waste in Sri Lanka.

Electronic waste contains hazardous materials that can harm the environment if not disposed of properly. This initiative provides the community with a convenient and eco-friendly way to discard electronic devices, ensuring that they are recycled and processed in an environmentally responsible manner.

The collection drive is scheduled to take place from February 07th to February 10th, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, at Christell Luxury Wellness, No: 47/1, Galle Road, Colombo 04 (Opposite to Unity Plaza Building).

Residents and businesses are encouraged to bring their old or unused electronic devices to the collection point during the specified dates and times. The Christell Foundation and Green Links Lanka teams will be on-site to assist and guide participants through the process.

Christell Luxury Wellness invites the community to join hands in making this e-waste collection drive a success. By responsibly disposing of electronic devices, each participant contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment.
